This is a medium-sized fused glass plate, made from fairly heavy cream glass. The text is from an 1840s edition of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, which I've photographed & enlarged for printing on here. I really love this old font, and I love how it looks on textured glass.
The plate is about 20cm square and would look lovely to display in any room, and it's fine to use in the kitchen as it's completely food safe. Easy to clean with washing up liquid, but best to avoid the dishwasher.
